Centro Cultural Comares is a space devoted to the promotion of culture, with a special focus on contemporary artistic movements and the publishing world. Its work is built around books, publishing, and critical thinking—foundational pillars of its identity.

Located in the Realejo neighborhood of Granada, the building features an exhibition space spanning four floors arranged around a central courtyard. A glass curtain wall seamlessly integrates stunning views of iconic historical and artistic landmarks, including Torres Bermejas, the Rodríguez-Acosta Foundation, the Gómez Moreno Foundation, the Archive of the Royal Chancery, and the Casa de los Tiros. The architectural project was designed by Granada-born architect Eduardo Martín.

Founded in 1983 and based in Granada, Editorial Comares is one of Spain’s most prestigious academic publishers. Over the years, it has published more than 5,000 books on Art, History, Philosophy, Translation, and Law. Specializing in books on Social Sciences and Humanities, it ranks sixth in the SPI (CSIC) index of top scientific publishers in the country.
